Produit localement, l'hibiscus constitue une solution abordable. L'étude a montré que la consommation régulière d’hibiscus améliore le contrôle de l’hypertension chez des personnes atteintes modérément, y compris chez celles qui n'arrivaient pas à baisser suffisamment leur pression artérielle avec les médicaments standards.
